Sean Fitzpatrick – Director / DOP
Sean is a visual creative, strategist and film director / photographer who works with messaging to bring about ethical, engaged communication. He is also the current executive director of ZAM Magazine, a platform for African journalism, the arts and future thinking, that challenges exploitation and defends free expression.
Born in Zimbabwe and raised in South Africa, Sean settled in the Netherlands in 1986 where he established a career as a Director and Cinematographer. As a film maker, Sean is driven to bringing about change through his creative documentary and non-fiction work. He creates documentaries, strategies, concepts and visual assets on the issues of our time including democratic justice, social cohesion, the energy transition and tech innovation.
