A very powerful concept, a very distressing subject.

HIV transmission from mother to child is a destructive issue for all Africans. Having strong African roots meant that I could tell this story in a personal way. For me, its all about the details, and I wanted to get those details right. It’s not so much the obvious aspects of the story that fascinate me, but more the parts of the tale not being told. And that’s what I focused on in this film.
